Blue Lotus Absolute – Sri Lankan

The absolute is obtained by solvent extraction of the Nymphaea Caerulea petals to produce a concrete. The absolute is extracted from the concrete via ethanol and vacuum filtration.

Blue lotus absolute also serves as a CSR initiative for our long-term supply partner, as the harvesting of flowers employs approximately 400 men and women in local villages. As Blue Lotus flowers grow mainly on water, they take small boats to harvest and collect the colourful flowers.
