Description:

Bergamot essential oil is extracted by cold pressing of the outer rind of fresh bergamot. It has common use in flavourings and is also used as a top not in perfumery.

Early records of the use of bergamot can be traced back to 1714 where it was used as a fragrance in perfume. Bergamot oil is also sometimes found as a flavouring agent in Earl Gray Tea. The high content of limonene is characteristic of the citrusy scent in oils like Bergamot, Orange and Lemon.

Packaging:

This product is supplied in 1kg aluminium containers, 5kg and 25kg HDPE containers and 180kg metal containers. Compliant with UN Packing Group III.

This oil is produced exclusively for Khush Ingredients in Calabria, Italy. Harvest months are highlighted in green:

Shelf Life:

24 months when stored within advised conditions, re-test every 12 months thereafter for a possible further 24 months.
