Description:

Himalayan Cedarwood Oil is steam distilled from the roots and stumps of Cedrus doedara. It has a distinct woody odour and possessess epidermic and antiseptic properties. Because of this, Himalayan Cedarwood is used in a lot of soap fragrances.

Himalayan Cedarwood Oil is a different botanical species to Cedarwood Atlas (Cedrus atlantica), so it is not a substitute, but Himalayan Cedarwood and Cedarwood Atlas do have a lot of similarities. If you have never tried it, ask us for a sample, you won’t look back!
