Khush Ingredients Ltd is pleased to announce that we have now successfully completed our ISO: 9001 (2015) registration for our UK operations.
Whilst we have always striven to meet the quality management principles of the International standard, it was only in 2020, having moved to our new integrated facility in Eynsham, Oxfordshire and expanding our team that we underwent an intensive exercise of training and implementing procedures to pass the audit with no non-conformities raised.
James, our Technical Lead, explained ‘ensuring a process for updating our Safety Data Sheets and following through with changing product labels accordingly will reduce risk of inconsistency.’
One of our Continuous Improvement Projects is being run by Lizzie from our Supply Chain team; ‘our challenge is to eliminate as much waste as possible from our producers by importing containers and pallets of high quality so they can be used to deliver to our customers.’
It’s been all hands-on-deck as Luke from Internal Sales has taken on a team training role; ‘it was important for me to ensure that all of our team were fully informed, so putting together short, factual and fun training seminars was a real challenge’.
