Clary Sage is extracted by steam distillation of the flowering tops and leaves of Salvia sclarea labiatae. Khush Ingredients provide a product that is natural and not rectified. It is grown in the fields in the South of France along the Route to Puimoisson, just outside the town of Valensole. This allows us to give our customers consistency year on year.
Clary Sage is used mainly in aromatherapy, however some of the chemical properties found in the plant are used in various skincare products, so Clary Sage does find some use in this area.
This product is supplied in 1kg aluminium containers and 2kg, 5kg and 25kg plastic HDPE drums.
This product is produced for Khush Ingredients in France. Main harvest periods are highlighted in green:
36 months when stored within advised conditions, re-test every 12 months thereafter for a possible further 24 months.
All of our oils are available as samples, enabling you to see for yourself how they vary and what suits your use best. For sample requests, please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
We regret that we can only sample bona-fide companies. If you are a smaller entity, then you are welcome to visit our Oxfordshire laboratory to see the oils first hand.
