Description:

Lavandin Super (Lavandula hybrida) is part of the Lavender plant family. It was developed by combining True Lavender (Lavandula officinalis) and Spike Lavender (Lavandula latifolia).

Lavandin is a popular alternative for Lavender in the perfume and cosmetics industries, this is due to its high yield of oil as a lower cost product. There is also another grade of lavender hybrid oil called Lavandin Grosso. This has a higher percent of camphor present than the ‘super’ variant. However, Lavandin super containers a higher percentage of Lavandula angustifolia, which makes it the more expensive of the two.

This product is supplied in 1kg aluminium bottles, 5kg, 25kg and 50kg fluorinated HDPE containers.

Shelf Life:

48 months when stored within advised conditions, re-test every 12 months thereafter for a possible further 24 months.
