Uses:

Organic Lavender Water is a natural product produced from the distillation of the the herb Lavandula angustifolia M., Labiatae grown in the Rose Valley, near Manalova in Bulgaria. Organic Lavender water is used for perfumery and cosmetic items.

Production:

This ingredient is produced in Bulgaria normally July to September each year. These are the main harvest times (bold).

The production facility is annually audited and approved for organic production and supply by Balkan Biocert Ltd, and the supply is approved by The Soil Association.

Packaging:

Packed into containers of 20kg or 220kg HDPE containers.

Shelf Life:

In original supplied packaging, the product can be stored for up to 3 years (subject to storage conditions as safety data sheet) .

Once opened, product must be used within a short period / transferred into another container with risk assessment done. The main hazard is microbial growth when water is exposed to oxygen and warmth.
