Description:
Rose Absolute is a vibrant, sweet, floral aroma. It is renowned for its rejuvenating properties. The water is said to improve the tone and texture of the skin and the delicate, floral scent is supposed to aid in stress relief and relaxation.
The low methyl eugenol rosa centifolia smells a little different from the rosa damascena. This Indian Rose Absolute centifolia contains a methyl eugenol count of around 0.04% whereas the Bulgarian rosa damascena contains between 0.3 to 0.8% methyl eugenol. Not all Absolutes are the same so please ask for a sample of our Bulgarian damascena or Indian centifolia before buying.
Production:
This ingredient is produced in India, usually a month after the initial rose petal harvest in May/June. The main harvest period is highlighted in green:
Packaging:
Packed into containers of 100g, 500g and 1kg aluminium bottles.
Shelf Life:
36 months when stored within advised conditions, re-test every 12 months thereafter for a possible further 24 months.
